Welz Variegated Green Mica

This decor is found with a dark rust exterior covered with green mica. The interior of these pieces is generally a stark red. All known examples have a black applied rim. The decor bears a resemblance to Kralik Variegated Mica, which is generally found in translucent glass of different colors. There is also a distant resemblance to Loetz Ausführung 134 and occasionally examples have been represented as such.
